I also do 1 to 1 mentoring sessions for animation, projection, script writing and theatre producing, often as part of artists' DYCP grants, as well as running larger workshops from time to time.

Current personal projects

Queericles - Poetry/Theatre

1623 Theatre have commissioned me to make a modern trans focused show loosely based on Shakespeare's Pericles (Queericles). It will feature fun projections, powerful spoken word poetry and barbershop quartet, telling the story of a woman who dared the world to throw everything it had at her, and then some. I had an R&D in May 2023 and I'm currently writing the full script with a view to develop it into a full show in 2024.

Upside Down - YA Novel

I'm writing a young adult novel about a trans girl surviving the apocalypse. One day gravity reversed and everyone fell into the sky. Told through her doodles and diary entries, Upside down follows the adventures of trans teen Abigail Rose Starlight the 3rd as she grapples her way through a world now flipped upside down. The vibe is a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy meets gullivers travels, full of off the wall comedy and laced with satire, such as in the rightsiders, a group of people who glue themselves to the ceiling so they can pretend nothing's changed, even if it makes life harder for themselves.

Animated comedy shorts

I'm making a series of short animated comedy sketches about trans issues. This first one is about 2 writers trying to out-cancel each other so they can sell more books.

I'm currently working on my second, titled Misgendered, about a group of trans friends who get accidentally affirmed by a transphobe who gets their genders right while trying to insult them.
